Experience and education

  • Bachelor (must) or Master (preferred) degree in health science, food technology, chemical engineering or related field;
  • 6-10 years of successful commercial experience in a technical B2B environment;
  • Experience in the Pharma industry is highly preferred;
  • Knowledge in pharmaceutical formulation and solution-providing is preferred;
  • Excellent English and German (preferably native) language skills.

Employment conditions and location

  • Full-time (40 hours);
  • Location: DFE Pharma’s head office in Goch, Germany (40 km from Nijmegen, Holland), plus  a lot of travel to clients throughout German;

About position

The objective of the Sales Manager Germany is to develop and maintain business through mainly direct customer relationships to maximize DFE Pharma’s sales and profit goals in Germany. The main challenges in this role are to gain advanced knowledge of the pharmaceutical business and to build a broad network within the industry. The Sales Manager will continuously be in contact with new and existing customers to understand their needs and identify and capitalize on opportunities for DFE’s products and services. In this position the main stakeholders are a variety of people in the industry (purchasers, R&D, finance, production etc). Within DFE this person will collaborate with people in the OSD tribe and also with colleagues of Sales, Marketing, R&D and supply chain. The Sales Manager reports to Remko Beimers, RSM EMEA. Remko has 20+ years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry and is an experienced sales leader.
